Dwayne r. bond, ph.d
Dwayne is a pastor, counselor, coach, professor, and businessman. In addition to leading the Proximus Group, Dwayne serves as the Lead Pastor/Founding Pastor of Wellspring Church in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Liberty University with a Ph.D. in Professional Counseling, Capital Bible Seminary with an M.A. in Christian Counseling and Discipleship, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Religion, and University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance.
In addition to obtaining earned degrees, Dwayne has over twenty-three years of counseling experience, (including over 9,000 hours of face-to-face counseling), eighteen years as a professor in academia, seventeen years in the pastorate, thirty-three years of ministry experience and ten years of corporate business experience. He serves on the Council Board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. Dwayne is poised to assist individuals, families, pastors, business leaders, organizations and churches. He is a gifted counselor and an effective and proven leader who understands people and is equipped to assist them through whatever ails them. He is passionate about offering hope and healing through Christ for those who are hurting.
He and his wife, Leslie of thirty-four years, have two sons, Jarami and Kamin, and one daughter, Imani. Dwayne enjoys traveling, health, fitness, basketball, gardening, cooking and reading.
John Hall, BC
For over a decade, John has walked with people in need. With a background of his hardships and struggles, John loves coming alongside fellow image-bearers who suffer because we live in a fallen world. He has worked in addiction recovery centers in a variety of roles ranging from counseling, leading groups, and short- and long-term mentorship. John has also worked as a local church pastor, working closely with teenagers, young adults, and parents. John understands the difficulties of vocational ministry and loves to encourage and serve those new to ministry.
In addition to many years of on the ground experience, John has received a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Grimke Seminary with a focus towards growing in personal spiritual formation and leading others in the same direction. Alongside theological training at Grimke, he has also earned a certification from the Association of Biblical Counselors. One of John’s passions is to be a life-long learner to help those in need best.
John and his wife, Chelsea, have been married for six years. They enjoy reading together, going on trial walks, playing with their dogs, and finding new restaurants to try on date nights!
Roslind D. Moore, LCSW
Roslind is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in her field. In addition to her work with The Proximus Group, she continues to provide social work services in the community and also provides administrative support to the leadership team at Wellspring Church, where she serves as a deaconess. Roslind has worked in various capacities in the arenas of medical social work, child welfare, clinical counseling, crisis intervention, mental health, and hospice/bereavement. She graduated with honors from Salisbury State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Spanish. She went on to obtain her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her degrees, Roslind has held her clinical license in social work for 17 years. She also obtained her certification in Critical Incident Stress Management and holds a certificate of Clinical Supervision in social work. She has been published in the Journal of Social Work in End-of-Life & Palliative Care, and specializes in grief, loss, and crisis intervention. She has worked extensively with a variety of populations during her time as a social worker and stands ready to assist individuals, families, children, teens, pastors' wives, and church/ministry leaders. She wants to see hurting people experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ in real and tangible ways.
ADAM STAHR, BC
Adam is the Pastor of Care & Formation at 2 Pillars Church in Lincoln, NE where he has served as a pastor for over ten years. He is certified through the Association of Biblical Counselors and has completed Crosspoint Ministry's two-year Soul Care Institute.
Adam earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and subsequently worked in higher education recruitment and college ministry before transitioning to church planting and pastoral ministry. He has soul care experience working with individuals, couples, leaders, leadership teams, and pastors. One of Adam's greatest joys in ministry is witnessing firsthand the transformation, healing, and strengthening of individuals through the grace of God, in Christ. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve as an instrument of this grace in the lives of others.
He and his wife, Kalee, have been married for over seventeen years and have three children. Adam enjoys coaching his kids' soccer teams, cheering on his alma mater Nebraska Cornhuskers (Go Big Red!), reading, spending time with friends, and collecting pens and other analog stationery tools.
